01. Browse or Search: Normally, you will find answer to your query just by browsing or searching recent articles on relevant forums, as someone like you might have already posted similar query, which is already answered by the university staff ! You need not login to browse or search !!

02. Login Before Posting New Query or Reply: You must login as a registered user of this website to post new query or reply on these forums !

03. Update "My Settings": After successful login, please follow "My Settings" link on the lower left side of the 'Forum' module to appropriately modify following settings: (1) User Settings > Signature: You should include "Thanks" followed by the blank line and then by your full name, username, SRN, Student ID, academic programme name where admitted, allotted study center name with reference and your mobile or phone number ! This signature (which provides complete information about you) will automatically append to all new posts or replies from you so that you get much faster and prompt response ! (2) Tracking / Subscriptions > Tracking Forum: You can select all those forums here, so that you receive automatic notification emails when ever your selected forums have new posts or replies !!

04. Do Not Repeat Query: Please do not repeat the same query in different forums ! Repeating do not speed up our response. In fact, it slows down our speed of response !!

05. Prefix New Query or Reply with Programme Abbreviation, Course Code: You must prefix the subject of each new article or reply with the abbreviation (like AEP, ESEP, MLEP, MEEP, SEP) of the respective programme followed by comma separated course code, to enable fast and prompt response from the university staff !

06. Never Post Your Password Here: Never, never post your any password here on any forums ! These forums are non-moderated, open to all type of forums and hence, password like sensitive information may be misused by any one, if posted.

All students (prospective and enrolled) and counselors at all study centers are welcome here to interact with each other and with the university staff. OUT OF SYLLABUS QUESTION IN TML 101 PAPER   (N/A)

DEAR SIR / MADAM,

 KINDLY,NOTE THAT IN TML 101 WRITTEN EXAMINATION HELD ON 11.08.2008 'QUETION NO.8:WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THERMOSYPHON COOLING SYSTEM?' IS OUT OF SYLLABUS QUESTION SO WE ALL STUDENTS NOT ABLE TO WRITE ANSWER FOR THE SAME.AFTER SEARCHING I FOUND THAT THIS QUESTION IS FROM CHAPTER NO.18 ENGINE COOLING (BOOK "INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE BY M.L.MATHUR&R.P.SHARMA) WHICH IS NOT PART OF SYLLABUS GIVEN BY YOU.

SO,BEHALF OF ALL STUDENT I REQUEST YOU LOOK IN THIS MATTER ON PRIORITY AND GIVE THIS 05 MARKS TO US TO AVOD OUR MARKS LOSS.

I HOPE YOU WILL  DO THE NEEDFUL.THANKING YOU

Dear Friend,

This Question is not a out of sylabus..

It is a fundamental question which should be understood and known to each mechanical person..

So, this is a general question which a student can easily answer..

The QUESTION NO.8  asked in TML101 about THERMOSYPHON COOLING SYSTEM is out of syllabus so all we students couldn't answer it .

So on behalf of all students i request you please consider this matter kindly and give us full marks alloted to this question.

You can get  the answer for this question from the same Mathur Sharma Book and also in Automobile technology by Author Kripal Singh Book too..

In ur mail you have stated that  "we all students need official reply not from any student who has just attempted the exam."

But pls be noted that , This discussion forum is for discussing all aspects of all academic programmes on offer from this university;  All students (prospective and enrolled) and counselors at all study centers are welcome here to interact with each other and with the university staff for ENHANCING / SHARING  THE  KNOWELEDGE.

Hence , just to make the students to know from where they can get the answer,  I wrote it is available in the same book; Nothing else..; As said by you, if university is going to provide 5 marks to us, I too will get benifit in this..

Dear Ganeshan,

                                You are saying that this questions answer is in book that is right but please note that the section which is having this answer is not included in TML101 syllabus.so please stop this wrong feedback for sake of all students.University provide us syllabus for our conveniance.If you are studying extra portion other than syllabus coverage that is your concern.I already mention page no.in above mail pl,go thru it.I better know forum is designed for all students help not for personnel use.
